Continuing along the travel photography theme, we look at how to take advantage of the power of local adjustments in Lightroom (or any similar post-processing software). We previously learned how global adjustments can bring out more detail in a photo and improve the overall appeal. To achieve the best results, however, one has to master the techniques of local adjustments.

In this episode, you will learn to selectively adjust the light in challenging photos.

  • You will learn to trust in yourself and play around with whatever photos you bring home with you.
  • You will learn to use the radial filter and adjustment brush tools.
  • You will learn to analyze a photo to notice what kind of processing it requires and why.
